Student Exchange Program
Department of Korean Studies has approved the agreements for Student Exchange Program with the following oversea Universities. Students of Korean Studies will be given an opportunity to be dispatched to the partner universities for one or two semesters according to the agreements for student for exchange Program.
La SAPIENZA UNIVERSITY AT ROME (Italy): exchange up to 6 students respectively
Australian National University (Australia): exchange up to 1 students respectively
Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (Kazakhstan): exchange up to 2 students respectively
University Of Hanoi, College Of Foreign Languages (Vietnam): exchange up to 2 students respectively
TUITION FEES AND ANCILLARY EXPENSES
Tuition fees shall be paid to the home institution, and students will benefit from the host institution’s services such as libraries, laboratories etc. as regular students.
Students shall be responsible for paying all other expenses including visa, travel and accommodation costs.
PROCEDURES FOR STUDENT EXCHANGE
Both Institutions shall select from their own students those whom they deem suitable to take part in the study abroad programme according to pre-determined criteria.
The duration of the exchange should not be shorter than three months nor exceed one academic year and the duration of the exchange as well as the conditions under which it will be proposed will be agreed upon according to the needs and requests of the parties.
Both institutions shall attempt to keep a reasonable balance in the number of student exchanged.
Students from both institutions taking part in the activities provided for by this Additional Protocol are covered by their home universities’ insurance for accidents and illnesses caused by accidents.
Students will be asked to sign their own health insurance before departure.
